The parish of Casa Branca now has an Electric Vehicle Charging Station (PCVE) in operation, located at Largo João Andrade Bastos Ribeiro, next to the Garden and the Social Center.
The commissioning of this equipment is part of the Municipality of Sousel's commitment to promoting more sustainable mobility, by strengthening the network of electric vehicle charging infrastructure in the municipality and creating better conditions for those who opt for this type of mobility.
In addition to Casa Branca, the parish of Cano also has a PCVE, situated in Largo do Rossio, allowing electric vehicle users to charge their cars in a central area of the parish.
Santo Amaro will soon join this network, where the charging equipment is already in the installation phase, with its commissioning scheduled for the near future.
With these investments, the Municipality of Sousel aims to keep pace with the growing use of electric vehicles, promoting more sustainable mobility alternatives and contributing to the reduction of the environmental impact associated with transport.
The strengthening of the PCVE network in the municipality thus represents another step in the municipal strategy of modernizing infrastructure, enhancing public space, and promoting sustainability, ensuring that the different parishes of Sousel keep pace with the evolving mobility needs of the population and visitors to the municipality.
